Best Thailand eBay Alternative for Seller/Buyer Shopping

  1. Lazada has gone downhill in terms of ability to complete a transaction and quality control. What was possible with Lazada in the past is no longer. They can’t deal with international purchasers delivering to Thailand and their quality control is gone. If they don’t deliver what you order from one of too many resellers, they give you a lame partial refund and keep selling the same listing that does not deliver.

  2. I second the experience with some foreign traders. Bought a product, seller never answers and doesn’t ship. Lazada try to force you to use their ‘wallet’ by putting refunds into that, but as a foreigner you aren’t allowed to have one. So you end up getting a voucher, which you can’t use for shipping charges. As a result I always choose CoD now.

Meanwhile, the bogus ad is still there, months later. At least they have English speaking support.

I always check out shoppee.co.th now, as they sometimes have products Lazada don’t have and they are often slightly cheaper. Thai only, so I use Google Chrome and let it translate. Works most of the time. I need it for Lazada, too. The website is partially English, but ads are usually in Thai only.

  3. I just had lots more trouble with Lazada. The voucher they gave me didn’t work, so they replaced it, but deducted 68B from it, claiming I had used it on my last purchase, with is BS. Now they stopped responding, so they effectively stole that money from me. I will make one last purchase to use up that voucher and then I will boycott them and use only Shopee.

BTW: Gmail sent the notification email from this to spam.

    Regards,
    Peter.
